How it works
Subway's nutrition guide lists every bread, protein, cheese, vegetable and sauce separately, each as the amount that goes on a 6-inch sandwich. A sub is the sum of what goes in it, so the calculator adds Subway's official values for each pick. For a footlong it doubles every sandwich ingredient, because Subway's guide says to "double values for footlong nutrition information (one footlong=two 6" servings)." Cookies and sides are counted once.
Subway's menu subs are listed separately as whole sandwiches built to Subway's own recipes, so a build here will not always match the menu number. The 6-inch Grilled Chicken sub on the menu is 510 calories with 31g protein, while one 6-inch portion of grilled chicken in the ingredient table is 80 calories with 16g. Build what you actually ordered and the total follows. Want the menu-sub view instead? Read the full Subway calories guide.

What Subway publishes, and what it does not
- Footlong: Subway's guide states a footlong is two 6-inch servings, so the calculator doubles bread, protein, cheese, extras, veggies and sauces.
- Double meat and extra cheese: the guide has no double or extra rows, so the calculator does not offer them. You can stack different proteins, each counted at Subway's 6-inch portion.
- Wraps, protein bowls, salads and Protein Pockets: Subway lists these only as finished items with their own portions (a wrap carries a footlong meat portion), not as a base you can build on, so they are not in the builder.
- Drinks and chips: not in Subway's U.S. nutrition guide, so they are left out rather than estimated.

Does a Subway footlong have double the calories of a 6-inch?

Which Subway bread has the fewest calories?
Hearty Multigrain at 200 calories for a 6-inch. Artisan Italian is 210, Artisan Flatbread is 220 and Jalapeño Cheddar is 240. Double each for a footlong.
What is the lowest calorie Subway sauce?

Can I add double meat or extra cheese in this calculator?
No. Subway's U.S. nutrition guide does not list double meat or extra cheese portions, so the calculator leaves them out instead of guessing. You can stack different proteins, each counted at Subway's published 6-inch portion.
Why does my build not match the menu sub calories?
Menu subs are whole sandwiches built to Subway's own recipes and portions. The 6-inch Grilled Chicken sub is 510 calories with 31g protein, while one 6-inch portion of grilled chicken in the ingredient table is 80 calories with 16g. The calculator adds up exactly what you pick.
How do I log a Subway order in Nouri?
Copy the sentence this calculator writes, or say your sub the way you ordered it. Nouri lets you type it, say it, snap a photo that it turns into a sentence first, or log it with Siri from the lock screen, and it shows calories and macros for each item with its reasoning.

- Every ingredient row is the amount on a 6-inch sandwich. Footlong values are those rows doubled, per the guide's own note. Values the guide lists as under 1g are counted as 0.
- Left out because Subway does not publish them as buildable rows: double meat, extra cheese, wraps, protein bowls, salads, Protein Pockets, drinks and chips.
