Starbucks Calorie Calculator
Pick a Starbucks drink, choose hot or iced and a size, and see calories, protein, carbs, fat, sugar and caffeine. It covers 163 drinks, hot and iced counted separately, with Starbucks' own published nutrition for every size it sells, from a Short to a Trenta.
Selected: Caffe Latte
Starbucks publishes nutrition for each drink's standard milk only, so this is the milk the numbers are based on. Ordering a different milk? Log the exact order in Nouri.
- 2% milkstandard
- Espresso2 shots
Extra pumps, whipped cream or a milk swap? Starbucks does not publish calories per syrup pump or for whipped cream on its own, so this calculator does not guess them. The numbers above are the standard recipe. Log your exact order in Nouri and the change is counted.
Copy as a Nouri log:
Paste it into Nouri or say it out loud, and add any changes you made, like oatmilk or an extra pump. You get calories and macros with the reasoning shown. Your barista will spell your name wrong. Your log does not have to be wrong too.

How it works
Starbucks publishes a nutrition panel for every drink at every size it sells, based on the standard recipe: the default milk, the default number of syrup pumps and espresso shots, and whipped cream or cold foam where the drink comes with it. The calculator shows that panel for the drink, temperature and size you pick. Hot and iced versions are separate recipes, so each has its own numbers.
Hot sizes are Short (8 fl oz), Tall (12), Grande (16) and Venti (20). Iced Venti is a bigger 24 fl oz cup, and some cold drinks also come in a 30 fl oz Trenta. Espresso drinks use Single to Quad shots. For every drink ranked in one place, read the full Starbucks calories guide, and for pumpkin and pecan drinks, the Starbucks fall menu calories breakdown.
Popular Starbucks drinks, Grande
Every row is Starbucks' published Grande (16 fl oz) standard recipe, lowest calories first.
| Drink | Calories | Protein | Sugar | Caffeine |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cold Brew | 5 | 0g | 0g | 205mg |
| Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew | 110 | 1g | 14g | 185mg |
| Iced Caffe Latte | 130 | 8g | 11g | 150mg |
| Pink Drink | 140 | 0g | 25g | 50mg |
| Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso | 150 | 2g | 15g | 255mg |
| Caffe Latte | 190 | 13g | 18g | 150mg |
| Iced Matcha Latte | 190 | 9g | 25g | 65mg |
| Chai Latte | 200 | 7g | 31g | 55mg |
| Caramel Macchiato | 250 | 10g | 33g | 150mg |
| Caramel Frappuccino | 380 | 4g | 54g | 90mg |
| Pumpkin Spice Latte | 390 | 14g | 50g | 150mg |
Hot vs iced: same cup, different numbers
In a Grande, the iced version of a latte is usually lighter, because ice takes up room that milk fills in the hot cup. The exceptions add something on top, like the cold foam on the Iced Pecan Crunch Latte.
| Drink | Hot Grande | Iced Grande | Iced vs hot |
|---|---|---|---|
| Caffe Latte | 190 | 130 | -60 |
| Flat White | 220 | 150 | -70 |
| Blonde Vanilla Latte | 250 | 190 | -60 |
| Matcha Latte | 220 | 190 | -30 |
| Chai Latte | 200 | 190 | -10 |
| Pumpkin Spice Latte | 390 | 370 | -20 |
| Caramel Macchiato | 250 | 250 | same |
| Pecan Crunch Latte | 260 | 380 | +120 |
Venti is where it gets confusing. A hot Venti Caffe Latte is 20 fl oz with 250 calories and 150mg of caffeine; the iced Venti is a 24 fl oz cup with 180 calories and 225mg, because it gets a third shot of espresso.
Highest protein Starbucks drinks
The protein lattes and matchas are the only drinks above 20g of protein in a Grande. Outside it, a plain Caffe Latte is the best protein buy.
| Drink | Calories | Protein | Sugar | Caffeine |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Iced Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Latte | 200 | 29g | 9g | 150mg |
| Iced Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Matcha | 210 | 31g | 10g | 65mg |
| Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Latte | 230 | 27g | 15g | 150mg |
| Iced Protein Matcha | 260 | 31g | 23g | 65mg |
| Vanilla Protein Cream Cold Brew | 300 | 17g | 23g | 205mg |
| Caffe Latte | 190 | 13g | 18g | 150mg |
Comparing coffee chains? The Dunkin' calories guide covers the other big one, and the Chipotle nutrition calculator works the same way for bowls and burritos.
Milk, syrup and whipped cream: what Starbucks publishes
- Milk: nutrition is for the standard milk only. Lattes, macchiatos, mochas, chai and matcha lattes use 2% milk; the Flat White, Frappuccinos and most cortados use whole milk; the flavored shaken espressos use oatmilk; the Pink Drink, Dragon Drink and Mango Dream use coconutmilk; the protein lattes and protein matchas use protein-boosted milk, except the Iced Banana Protein Cream Matcha, which uses 2%. Starbucks' own note says the numbers are based on standard recipes and do not reflect customizations.
- Syrup pumps: the recipe for each size lists the pump count, which the calculator shows under Standard recipe, but there is no official calorie number per pump. A Grande Caramel Macchiato gets 3 pumps of vanilla syrup.
- Whipped cream: it is counted when the standard recipe includes it, as on the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Caffe Mocha, White Chocolate Mocha and most Frappuccinos, but Starbucks does not publish it as a separate item.
- Official swaps: a few swaps exist as separate menu drinks, so they have real numbers. A Grande Nondairy Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew is 150 calories against 240 for the dairy version.
FAQ
How many calories are in a Starbucks Grande latte?
A Grande Caffe Latte is 190 calories with 2% milk, the standard recipe, with 13g protein, 19g carbs, 7g fat, 18g sugar and 150mg caffeine. The Iced Caffe Latte is 130 calories in the same Grande size.
Can I change the milk in this calculator?
No, on purpose. Starbucks publishes nutrition for each drink's standard milk only and says its numbers do not reflect customizations, so the calculator shows that milk instead of estimating oatmilk, almondmilk or nonfat versions. Log the drink with the milk you ordered and Nouri counts the swap.
How many calories are in a pump of syrup at Starbucks?
Starbucks does not publish a calorie number per pump, so this calculator does not estimate one. It does publish pump counts in each recipe: a Grande Caramel Macchiato gets 3 pumps of vanilla syrup, and the calculator lists the count for whatever drink and size you pick.
How many calories does whipped cream add at Starbucks?
Starbucks does not publish whipped cream as a separate item. When whipped cream is part of the standard recipe, it is already in the number: a Grande Pumpkin Spice Latte is 390 calories with 2% milk and whipped cream. Adding or skipping it changes the total by an amount Starbucks does not list.
Why does an iced latte have fewer calories than a hot one?
Ice takes up room that milk fills in a hot cup. A Grande Caffe Latte is 190 calories hot and 130 iced. The iced Venti is a bigger 24 fl oz cup, so an Iced Caffe Latte Venti is 180 calories against 250 for the 20 fl oz hot Venti.
What Starbucks drink has the most protein?
The protein matchas reach 31g in a Grande, and the Iced Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Matcha gets there for 210 calories. The Iced Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Latte is 200 calories with 29g. Outside the protein line, a Caffe Latte gives 13g for 190 calories.
How much caffeine is in a Starbucks Grande coffee?
A Grande Pike Place Roast has 315mg of caffeine, the same as the Sunsera Blonde and 1971 Dark Roast. A Grande Cold Brew has 205mg and a Grande Caffe Latte, with 2 shots of espresso, has 150mg.
How do I log a Starbucks drink in Nouri?
Copy the sentence this calculator writes and add anything you changed, like oatmilk, an extra pump or no whip, or just say your order the way you gave it at the counter. Nouri lets you type it, say it, snap a photo that it turns into a sentence first, or log it with Siri from the lock screen, and it shows calories and macros with its reasoning.
