In-N-Out Calories: Official Numbers for Every Burger, Fries, and Shake
A Double-Double is 610 calories and a full In-N-Out meal runs 460 to 1,580. Official calories, fat, carbs, and protein for the whole menu, Protein Style included, with real order math and an FAQ.
An In-N-Out meal runs from about 460 calories (a Protein Style Double-Double, nothing else) to about 1,580 (Double-Double, fries, and a shake). The menu is tiny, so a few official numbers cover almost every order. Everything below comes from In-N-Out's official nutrition data (January 2026 edition), including the published macros; burgers are as officially listed, with onion.

How to build a low-calorie order
Ranked by impact, from the official numbers:
- Skip the shake: saves 590 to 610. It costs as much as a Double-Double.
- Skip the fries: saves 360, as much as a whole hamburger.
- Protein Style: saves 150 on any burger (bun for lettuce), and cuts carbs from about 40g to about 10g.
- Mustard and ketchup instead of spread: saves 50 to 60 on any burger with zero taste of sacrifice for most people.
- Cheeseburger instead of Double-Double: saves 180, though you also give up 14g of protein.

How to log this in Nouri
I used AI photo trackers before I built Nouri. Fast, but I was not losing weight, and when I double-checked the estimates against what the ingredients actually add up to, the photo numbers came in low. One plate the camera called around 400 calories worked out closer to 700. The camera cannot see the oil in the pan, and at In-N-Out it cannot see the spread, which is worth about 60 calories per burger by In-N-Out's own numbers above.
A burger run is exactly what typed logging is for, because you know your order even when the photo hides it. "Double-double with onion, fries, half a vanilla shake" is a complete log in Nouri. Nouri is iPhone (iOS only), and you can try it free.
